Pocket Closet App Reviews

This is a great app - one suggestion is to add a color category. This would save a great deal of time as we would not need to include the color in each description. It would also be helpful to be able to filter by color within category (for example, view all brown shoes).

I had to take off immediately. I have touch closet and can use photos Ive taken previously, but with pocket closet, you have to take a new picture with the iphone, not use the photos I already have.

Needs a few things: Editable categories and tags Color selection Ability to tag individual clothing items, not just outfits

I really love it! Its so much fun and very useful! I hope they add a browse by catagory (browse by shoes or shirts) instead of just one lump as clothing, but I still enjoy the app and it is well organized.

Lots of fun and great way to log clothes and ask others opinions! Helps to plan ahead without hanging clothes around the room. I would suggest a search option based on color and category so it would be easier to locate individual clothes. Also missing suit category. As a working mom I think it would be great if I could also log my kids clothes. That way when I happen to be out shopping I can look and see what else I need to buy for them.

I downloaded this app and a competitor clothing app (Touchcloset). I decided that I preferred Pocket Closet because of the calendar view and random clothing selection option. I was loving this app, but after I uploaded 150+ items I started noticing the program lagging. After 300+ items it crashed and required me to launch the program repeatedly each time before opening. After deleting items it is now more stable but still crashes. (I have over 10GB of free space so no reason for this!) I am afraid to add the rest of my closet (easily another 500 pieces) because the program cant handle it. Moral of the story: This app is great but do NOT use it if you have a wardrobe over 300 pieces. I now use Touch Closet which backs up photos and information online.

I looked at the other apps for a couple dollars each but that didnt fit my budget. So I tried this as it advertises the same features as other more expensive apps. This app is right away easy to use and extremely helpful. You can search for clothes and take pictures AND keep track of them on a calendar. It has everything I need. Im wondering though, since I have such a huge closet, will I have enough space to save it all? It doesnt matter now, Im actually motivated to organize the massive heap on my floor! I got this program and at first loved it. It is much more intuitive and responsive than the two free programs I tried. I was looking forward to writing a very strong positive review until the program stopped working. Around the time the new iPhone operating system (3.0) was released and after I had added about 250 items into my closet, the program started crashing whenever I try to open it. I contacted the developers through support, but did not ever get a response. My advice is to wait to get a program that is actively supported and reliable, otherwise you could lose all your work to enter your closet, take pictures, build outfits, etc.

This application should let the customer upload pictures from other sources other thaan i phone example camera, library etc !!!!! It should also give instructions.

This app has made me so happy. Im always on the road for travel, and when I get home Im often too tired to pack anything interesting. So all those wonderful clothes just sit in the closet while I wear the same boring things week after week. Now I can see everything I own while Im on the road. If I get invited to a weekend event, there is no mad scramble to pick an outfit when I get back home, I can scan through clothes on the flight home. When Im shopping in some strange city I can see what I already own. Love the number of categories, makes finding things super easy.Like that the pictures dont get blended in with all my other pictures on the phone - keeps it from getting cluttered. Future requests - Would like a category for headbands, and makeup. Think a random outfit generator woud be fun - randomly pick shoes, top, bottom, or something like that. Would be cool to marry it with a pantone color chart so I could really match existing wardrobe while shopping. All in all a lifesaver! Worth every cent!

Ok let me start off by sayin that I have had this app for about 9 months & this is the only review for any app that I feel I really needed to write! The app is good - but to make it a 5-star app it needs 2 things: 1. A color wheel/box w/ coordinating entry point for color name 2. We need to be able to search via clothing type/catagory and/or color I am tired of squeezing the name of the color in the title!!! I have A LOT of clothes & even more accessories - so when I am trying to find out if I have already entered a pair of shoes as... "Dressy Black Slingbacks" -- I need to know if I will end up with 2 pairs of "Dressy Black Slingbacks" without scrolling through ALL of the clothing & accessories to find out!!!!! Also, it would make it easier to scroll through all the black purses, pants, etc. To find the right ones. Thank you & I REALLY LOOK FORWARD to the input/feedback from the creators of this app!

Love The App!! Although, I would really like to be able to search by category also.

If you have more than 100 pieces of clothing, this app will fail to lauched 

I love this but i hate that i cnt make my own catagories my favorite part about it is that when u upload the pics it shows the entire picture instead of zooming in or just showing a chosen portion of it!

My calender wont work and thats the whole reason i got this app whenever I press the calender tab it goes to the main screen....

You cant use any existing photos with this app. This needs to be fixed asap!

I wish I could search by category or that I could skip to letter in index rather than scroll through everything every time.

I really like this app and it has made it so easy to keep track of my wardrobe! Its especially useful when cleaning out my closet. Did I wear it...no? Then out it goes! Unfortunately, since I upgraded to OS5 I can no longer see the photos. This makes it much less effective.

Loved, loved, loved this app when I first got it (5 star-worthy), but since upgrading to iOS 5 I can no longer see the pictures (that I spent hours loading in). And it wont let me add new photos. Hello...can anyone say upgrade??? Has Deepwell Software ever bothered to upgrade this app since putting it out in 2008? Please fix this app to again make it useable!

This ap could be so cool! Since update cant see photos. Ap would be nice if when loading photos you could pick from your photo gallery on your phone. Would also like a section with the outfit to take a photo wearing the outfit all put together for reference! Please please please update!!
